~~~Update, Changes at the Bar!!!~~~

Joe has wanted to do stone on the base of the bar since he built it. But, it is a summer job because he had to use a wet saw and wanted to be able to do it outside. So, last week, he did it! OMGoodness, it looks amazing. We really like it and hope you do too! This is what it has looked like. Joe used cement board for the base knowing that he was going to do the stone. The Big Reveal: The New Bar!!!

We had 4 couples over Friday night for a MINI opening, we plan to have a large gathering soon. This is Joe's baby; he did the design, the planning, chose the cabinets, counter, floor, installed the cabinets and did all the electric and plumbing too, installed the floor. Now this room is perfect for entertaining, a big or small crowd! There is a story to these lanterns. Joe's Dad was a pilot, and when he flew to Germany there was a favorite pub he frequented. He got to know the owners and when they were going to remodel he GOT THE LANTERNS!!!!!!!!!! They were at Joe's parents home for many years and now we have 2 of them. My Joe cleaned them up, repainted them and replaced the glass.
