~~~A Pre Spring Table~~~

It all started with a new runner. I found this beautiful runner last week and knew I loved the colors and the design. AND, it was a huge bargain at $7.99! So I grabbed it quickly and started to plan a table. Spring is not quite here in this part of the country but you can tell it is TRYING to break through. We have very cold days and then one warm one to tease us. Well, enough chattering, let's look at the table. I am using these wicker based hurricanes because they go so well with this runner. The green napkins are also the perfect green and I just placed them between 2 of the dishes. I have a round rattan charger and on that are my new GLASS chargers that I got the same day as the runner. I LOVE them, they will be so versatile! The salad plates are GORGEOUS and were on clearance at Kirklands! I now want the whole set of these dishes and DID find them online!!! I actually had cut out a picture from a magazine YEARS ago that featured these dishes and found that to make sure these were the same ones. Well, it is the second day of Spring and we woke to SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was coming down fast and big, fat flakes!!! But it didn't last too long and is now all melted and just a memory. I decided I wanted to set the breakfast bar and it has gone through some additions along the way so I thought I would show you all of it. I started out pretty simply but then as I remembered things, added them. It starts with a pretty runner rather than placemats. I love this runner and this is a good place for it. Then I put my favorite square green dishes topped with a pretty cream scalloped salad plate. ~~~The Falling Leaves Table~~~

So, I decided to set a pretty table for them! I seem to have a "leaves" theme going which is very appropriate since they are FALLING like crazy outside now. I kept my everyday runner on the table and just added brown placemats, my everyday brown dinner plate, the salad plate from Walmart last year, and the everyday soup bowl.
