Today I wanted to share my new "winter" wreath! I made it with mostly things I had on hand, then added faux succulents!  I wanted something simple that would carry me for the few weeks til SPRING and Easter and bunnies etc.!!! Sorry fpr the background but my work station is in the storage area of the basement. I will share that one day soon:):) I always make my wreaths on an easel. It makes it much easier to see for correct placement. I started with a grapevine wreath and the first thing I placed was this piece. It has seen ALOT of use. I have foil under it to protect whatever surface I am working on. I swear, once you use a glue pot, you will never use a glue gun again. This is so much eaier and faster and puts more glue on a pick. You have more control, I feel. I have had this one glue pot for about 15 years now!!! Forgive the stick that is in there in this shot. I know you all have seen the foyer decorated for Christmas, but I don't think I have ever shown you what it looks like the rest of the year! I display more Asian pieces here too. I have 2 of these plant shelves that I use for display here. I got them YEARS ago because they were the perfect size! New/Old Kitchen Table

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Good Wednesday afternoon! I am still a BUSY girl, getting ready for "the kids" to move in this weekend. We decided to give T and D the kitchen table we were using, since their "morning room" will be ALOT bigger than our breakfast room, AND it has 6 chairs. I love the style of the table and chairs. The way I acquired it was our son tried to sell it at a garage sale here for....are ya ready... $150.00, brand new in the boxes!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it didn't sell! You can't get a not so nice table and FOUR chairs at K Mart for that let alone that table and 6 chairs. Anyway, now T and D will have it to enjoy. I always felt it was a little too big for our room but didn't want to give it away. Yesterday I went to Home Goods with a gift card and got all these things basically, for FREE!!!! I came out with a BIG smile on my face!!!! This arrangement was only $14.99 and I could not have made it for that.
