Good evening everyone! I apologize, but I have been having some ISSUES with Blogger and have had difficulty posting but I think I have figured out what was wrong. Last week, when I did the porch for Spring I also made a NEW Spring wreath. So, I thought I should take pictures and do a little tutorial for you! I am a floral designer so have made literally many hundreds of wreaths in my day:):) The first picture is the FINISHED product. Now I will show you how it cam about. I started with a grapevine, coiled to looks like 3 wreaths. I wired it in several places to maintain this wonderful shape.
I do not use a glue GUN, I use this glue POT. It is SO much easier and FASTER too.
I started with my greens, I cut this BUSH apart to use all the pieces around the wreath. I also had some other greens that were added all around the wreath.
I envisioned a light and airy effect and extended the branches way out from the wreath.
This is the ONE thing that I purchased, the lavender spikey flowers. The rest of the elements I had on hand. I have a LARGE stash of materials:):)
The next thing was this bulb with roots that I glued on by inserting a dowel into the bottom and gluing that onto the wreath.
I then glued in a tulip!
I am right handed but did this left handed so I could hold the camera:)
Next I added some more flowers: white hydrangeas and pink cosmos.

A pretty, mossy birdhouse was next.
Whoops, this picture is out of sequence....sorry!!! As you can see I also added 3 mini clay pots.
I had this little gardening RAKE, do you see a theme forming???
TA DA!!!! The finished wreath. I added 3 mini clay pots, spaced evenly around the wreath too.
And this piece that is the nest, forsythia, and greens.

Here it is on the front door.
I love that it FILLS the space on the storm door.

I hope this has been helpful. Remember, it ALWAYS takes more material than you think it will. Try to fill in all the gaps and make it full and LUSH but not overly crowded.
I will link up with these wonderful parties. Go on over and see TONS of great inspiration!!!!
