There is a kitchen in the building but I share it with five other girls. Five loveable but messy girls. As someone who values cleanliness, I avoid the kitchen at all costs. It's a dirt pit. I'm talking once I found decomposing fruit on top of the fridge. one room challenge - where are they now

Today is a fun 'this is your life' kind of day. Current version styled by my three-year-old assistant.<br /><br />So the girls still love the room, I still love the room. The loo? Yes, I obviously have Downton on the brain (does anyone else think that season went rather quickly?) Well I never did find one that suited, so I followed the lead of the great <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pin/6896205648982513/" target="_blank">Tobi Fairley</a> and had one made.<br /><br />Thank heavens I have a wonderful aunt who can sew like the wind. She did a beautiful job and because of the custom work I was able to have her make it just the right length so I could take the curtain rod all the way to the ceiling. It is amazing what it has done for the room. The space feels bigger, brighter and well...taller. Let's be real, more than one person uses this bathroom so one towel bar wasn't cutting it. ~Adding Baskets to the Breakfast Room Wall~

Gradually I am pulling things out and adding some decor to walls and surfaces. We have been here over a year but with taking care of the other house I have not been really "on my game" so to speak. But I see the light at the end of the tunnel so I am having fun doing this and that around here. I love bskets and have been collecting them for YEARS!!! I wish I still had all of them but some got purged, sadly. I am finding places to use them here. ~A HINT That Spring is Coming!!!~

This morning I went outside, it looked so beautiful. I grabbed my camera when I saw the pond. There is just a TINY bit of snow still on it and the water is running, so I know Spring is coming! We have had wonderful, warmer temps the past few days so I have been enjoying every minute. Spring cleaning is even starting here!!! Just thought I would share a few shots out back.
